Chris had all the answers and knew the right people
With nowhere else to turn, I emailed Chris at 3.00 am, when I was desperate for help to care for my husband.
Chris was with me a few hours later, and the following day my husband was in respite care, which shortly thereafter became permanent care.
At the time, I had absolutely no idea what to do, but Chris had all the answers and knew the right people. She made appointments and took me to care facilities to let me see what is available, arranged for assessments, and was with us through those assessments. She helped with form filling, shopping, and taking both my husband and myself to his new home, where she unpacked his suitcase and settled him into his new surroundings.
All the while I was a tearful mess, but Chris just held my hand, hugged me, and quietly took control of everything.
Each day there would be freshly made shortbread, cookies, soup, or other treats for us. Occasionally, she still calls with those treats.
Since those dark days I have recommended Chris to friends who just needed advice, or perhaps long or short-term home help, and she has been just outstanding for them too.
I can’t recommend this angel more highly.

When Dad came out of hospital, Chris at The Circle was an absolute godsend.
She guided us through everything we needed to keep Dad at home comfortably. From helping us find a lift chair and hire a hospital bed to arranging overnight care with one of her team. Her experience in aged care made the whole process so much easier.
Chris was caring, practical, and proactive. We’re so grateful to have her in our corner, making sure Dad can stay in his home safely for as long as possible.
