Answers to help you feel confident about care for your loved one

Answers to your questions

Caring for an ageing loved one comes with many decisions - and questions.

Our FAQs are here to make things simple, so you can focus on what matters most -
your loved one's comfort, safety, and happiness.

What is The Circle, and how do you help seniors at home?

The Circle is a trusted home care and wellbeing service that helps seniors stay safe, happy, and independent in their own homes for as long as possible.

We provide practical and emotional support - from companionship and wellbeing checks to organising home help, care services, and safety measures.

Our goal is to make living at home easier, safer, and more enjoyable for older adults and their families.

Who can use The Circle's senior home care services?

Our in-home support services are designed for older adults who want to stay in their own home or live independently at their retirement village, but may need a little extra help to do so safely.

Whether it’s light assistance, regular wellbeing visits, or guidance coordinating care, we tailor support to each person’s situation and lifestyle.

Why choose The Circle for home care and senior wellbeing?

Families choose The Circle because we offer more than just care - we offer connection, consistency, and genuine understanding.

Our approach blends practical support with companionship and emotional reassurance, helping seniors live well, not just longer, at home.

How do I arrange care or support through The Circle?

It’s easy to get started!

  1. Give us a call on 0274 949 961, or send us an email.

  2. We’ll talk through your needs and arrange a home visit or consultation.

  3. You’ll receive a personalised care and wellbeing plan designed to support independence and peace of mind.

  4. Once approved, services begin - with flexibility to make adjustments as needs change.

How much does The Circle's in-home senior support cost?

Our pricing depends on the type and frequency of care required.

After your consultation, we’ll provide a clear, no-obligation quote.

We can also advise on government funding or subsidies for home care in New Zealand to help make support more affordable.

What areas do you provide home care services in?

The Circle provides senior support and in-home care services across East Auckland.

If you’re unsure whether your location is covered, just get in touch - we're always happy to help.

Can I change or pause my care plan?

Absolutely. Our home care plans are flexible - you can increase, reduce, or pause services anytime with notice.

We understand that health and family situations can change, so your care plan can be adjusted to suit evolving needs.

How often will someone visit my loved one?

That depends on what works best for you.

Some families choose daily visits, while others prefer weekly well-being checks.

Each plan is designed around the senior’s comfort, independence, and safety needs.

What if there’s an emergency or sudden change in care needs?

We’re quick to respond when needs change.

If extra visits or urgent support are required, we’ll work with you to make it happen.

We also ensure families are kept informed and reassured during any changes to care.

Are your caregivers trained and trustworthy?

Yes.  Every team member is carefully selected, trained, and police-checked.

Our caregivers understand the importance of compassion, reliability, and respect when supporting seniors and their families.

We’re also fully insured for peace of mind

How do you protect privacy and personal information?

The Circle takes privacy seriously. All client information is handled with strict confidentiality, in line with New Zealand privacy standards.

Updates will only be shared with authorised family members, and always with the senior’s consent.

How do I give feedback or make a complaint?

We genuinely value your feedback.

You can reach out to us anytime by phone, email, or through the form on our Contact page.

Whether it’s a compliment, suggestion, or concern, we handle all feedback promptly and respectfully.

We believe in honest communication and continuous improvement.

If I need to go into an Aged Care Facility or a Retirement Village how will I know which is the best one for me?

Finding the right community for you is extremely important.

The Circle will assist you with a short list of villages and arrange no-pressure visits, taking the stress away from you.

We'll ensure all questions have been answered and that you understand your financial investment, along with the ongoing care you require.
