The heart behind The Circle
I’m Chris, a born and bred Howick local who has always loved creating spaces where people feel at home.
Over the years I’ve worn many hats - interior designer, events host, and coordinator - but the common thread has always been helping people feel comfortable, connected, and supported.
While working as a welfare coordinator in a retirement village, I discovered how meaningful The Circle’s work could be.
I saw firsthand how tough it can be for seniors and their families to navigate change, and how much difference the right guidance and a caring hand can make.
Today, my focus is simple: helping people to live independently within a village or in their own home for as long as they wish, while giving families peace of mind.
With warmth, practical know-how, and a local's perspective, I’m here to make independence possible - one home at a time.

Tony and I have been together for 36 years. Our relationship is built on a strong friendship and deep respect for people and our community.
We share a love for the outdoors and are avid collectors of antiques and treasures, always on the hunt for unique finds with stories to tell.
These shared passions, along with our commitment to supporting one another and the people around us, form the foundation of both our partnership and our approach to The Circle.
Tony’s caring and supportive nature, honed over decades of serving our local community through his electrical business, makes him the perfect partner for this venture - both in life and in work.
